Back to Basics – Fitpro 2010
ABC Aerobics – easy as 123 / Standard template
Counts Lead leg Choreography Direction
1 – 8 R Step touch x 4 Side to side
9 – 16 R Single single double curl Face front
17 – 24 L Grapevine x 2 Side to side
25 – 32 L Easy walk x 2 Face front
Repeat combination with the left leg lead

Combo 1 – Breakdown layers – one change at a time within reason
1 – Change grapevines and easy walk order so easy walk comes first
2 – Change double curl for ‘Beyonce’
3 – Add push up arms with the step touch x 4
4 – Change easy walks for an 8 point mambo with a turn
5 – Change grapevines for chasse mambo’s
6 – Change 2 step touch for 4 x hip swings ‘Duffy’

Standard template 2
Counts Lead leg Choreography Direction
1 – 16 R Easy walk x 4 Face front
17 – 24 R Grapevine x 2 Side to side
25 – 32 R Single single double curl Face front
Repeat combination with the left leg lead

Combo 2 – Breakdown layers – one change at a time within reason
1 – Change 2 easy walks to single knees forward
2 – Change the grapevines for a hold shuffle march behind
3 – Change the single knees for step tap/twist
4 – Change the other 2 easy walks for ‘1 2 cha cha’ forward and back
5 – Change the single curls for 1 x easy walk
6 – Change the easy walk rhythm to a ‘broadway’
7 – Change the double curl to a ‘step step twist twist’

Counts Lead leg Choreography Direction
1 – 8 R Easy walk x 2 Face front
9 – 16 R Single single doulbe Face front
17 – 24 L Grapevine x 2 Side to side
25 – 32 L Step touch x 4 Face front
Repeat combination with the left leg lead

Combo 3 – Breakdown layers – one change at a time within reason
1 – Change the 1st easy walk to 3 x lunges and knee
2 – Change 2nd easy walk to a mambo
3 – Change single leg curls to 4 marches
4 – Turn the double leg curl 360 degrees
5 – Change the 4 x step touch to 8 marches
6 – Make the 8 march an ‘8 reverse’, add latin arms or claps
7 – Charge the rhythm on the 8 reverse ‘boom da da’ boom dad a march x 2
8 – Turn the last 2 marches on the ‘8 reverse’
9 – Change the grapevines to chasse mambos
10 – Change the mambo after the lunges at the start to a pivot turn

Standard template 4 is the same as Standard template 1

Combo 4 – Breakdown layers – one change at a time within reason
1 – Change the step touches for 4 taps/clap either side/punch arms ‘groove’
2 – Change the double curl for ‘run run hop hop’
3 – Change the grapevines for ‘robot move’
4 – Change the easy walks for 8 point mambo forward turn
